AFTER HOURS
Chris Hynum is an original member of After Hours. His main instrument is saxophone, and he has performed in the Central PA area for over thirty years. His experiences include performing jazz, classical, and rock. He is also a member of the Wheel’s on Fire tribute group dedicated to the music of The Band.
Michael Dobson is an affluent pianist and cellist from Palmyra, PA. He has performed with groups including Final Boss Big Band, Jazz Ministers Big Band, and Modal Mixture. During the day, he works as an elementary school music teacher. When not playing jazz, he enjoys composing and collaborating with other musicians.
John Lantz anchors the trio on bass. With deep roots in jazz and contemporary performance, he brings groove and stability to the After Hours sound. His versatility allows him to blend seamlessly across genres, giving the group its distinctive pulse.
